Summer Camp

 

Future Leaders Innovating to Go Higher in Technology (FLIGHT), is a Virtual STEM Entrepreneurship Summer Camp for girls and gender-diverse youth, aged 13-18, who further identify as Black, Indigenous and Peoples of Colour.

In partnership with BrainSTEM Alliance, University of Waterloo’s Women in Computer Science (WiCS) program and the University of West Indies, CISE-Atlantic proudly presents the Atlantic Chapter of this one-of-a-kind program.

In this 2-week program, learners will:

Get creative! Build a tech business idea to solve a problem in their community.

Get inspired! Learn from professionals in STEM and Innovation as they run workshops and coach teams to success.

Get mingling! Join a one-day conference all about different pathways and careers into STEM and tech entrepreneurship.

Get persuasive! Showcase their final projects, make compelling project pitches, and take home prizes and BRAGGING RIGHTS.
