STEM Professionals Advancing Research and changemaKing (SPARK) Lecture Tour

About the Award

In recognizing outstanding STEM professionals in Atlantic Canada, this award aims to support the development of early-career researchers and individuals from equity-deserving groups to share their research across the region. 

 

For the inaugural 2025 award year, in recognition of the International Year of Quantum Science and Technology, we are emphasizing professionals with contributions in these fields. However, professionals from all STEM disciplines are highly encouraged to apply.

ACT Conference

 The Atlantic ConnecTions (ACT) Conferences provide women and gender diverse individuals opportunities to come together for action and systemic change in Science, Engineering, Trades and Technology (SETT). CISE-Atlantic will continue to support these biannual conferences – keep an eye out for more details on the next ACT conference!

Dr. MAA Conference Grant

The Dr. Margaret-Ann Armour National Conference Grant is administered by the NSERC Chairs for Women in Science and Engineering and Chairs for Inclusion in Science and Engineering (CWSE-CISE) Network. The Grant supports the organization of non-profit national conferences and workshops, either in-person or virtual, which contribute to the advancement and retention of women in STEM in Canada.
